The Maestro's Rock Show

So, I was a 16-year-old kid in Selmer, TN.... A friend of mine asks me "Hey you want to spin records at a radio station? Saturday and Sunday noon to 6." I thought that sounds a whole lot more fun than working at Burger King!!

So, at 16 years old I went to work for a small am station spinning classic country... Definitely not my music of choice. I've always been a banger... but once I got started, I had the radio bug! I jumped in and started spinning those records, doing commercials, and realized...

"Hey, I'm actuality pretty good at this!" lol.

I've been in radio since... I've worked for multiple stations in Selmer, Iuka, Memphis, and Jackson... and have been with the Rocket since its inception back in 2003!!!

There is still nothing better than not knowing what song is about play and then reaching for that volume when your jam comes on!! And no matter how many streaming platforms pop up.  EVERY new band that comes along has that one goal... To be on the radio!!
